  1. I LOVE your mosaic. The photos are perfect. Slate blue, sand and brown are among my most favorite color combinations - maybe favorite. And the amount of space between. Textures. Mm mm mm. Scrumptious.

  2. Hi Maggie

I love the tones in your mosaic and the way that you have arranged the pieces. The white space really adds to the effect.

I can guarantee you that spring is not far away.

    Happy days

  3. Maggie, you are so artsy!! I can't tell you how pleased I am to see this side of you. It was always evident that you had talent with a camera, but this is something more. Love how Nugget's long shadow is blue-grey - the colours in this are wonderful.

  4. I love the photos in the mosaic, your dog's shadow gives a hint, that spring is in the air.

I recently too, took a photo of melting snow exposing the curves and points of an oak leaf and then tire tracks left by my grandson in the mud yesterday. It must be what we do, when 'waiting for spring'.

  6. A delicate set of images, that capture the fragility if life during the winter months, before Spring comes.

  7. Ruth, Delwyn,Deb, Wanda, Mary and Jinksy thankyou for your compliments. Blogging has allowed me to meet you great group of ladies.

Blogging does give us a medium to share in a way that we probably never do even with close friends or family because we have the time and space to be creative, to express ourselves and be seen and heard. My family has been surprised by my blog saying it is exposing a different side of me that they have never seen before. If you have thoughts on this I'd love to hear them.

  11. Friko, so do you have Photshop? I will do a post saying how I do it in Photoshop-I'm just learning myself.
You could go to Smilebox.com and make one very easily for free then post it to your blog.

  13. Breathtaking beauty. I was transported to the magic of the in-between season, the end of winter and the beginning of spring. Many thanks.
